Master organic chemistry with an interactive puzzle game designed to enhance understanding of chair conformations. Recognized as the "top chemistry app" by the Royal Society of Chemistry and a 2016 finalist for the SXSW LaunchEDU award.
Success in organic chemistry courses and exams like the MCAT, GRE, or DAT hinges on developing visual thinking skills. Hands-on practice is crucial for achieving academic excellence.
Rather than relying solely on rote memorization of terms and formulas, mastering organic chemistry demands a deep comprehension of spatial relationships.
Chair conformations, known as ring flips, provide excellent exercises in spatial reasoning essential for excelling in organic chemistry. However, hand-drawing cyclohexane chair forms can pose challenges.
This game was crafted to demonstrate that organic chemistry can be made visual, tangible, and engaging.
The visual pattern puzzle game offers an enjoyable and efficient method for mastering chair (or cyclohexane) ring flips.
"Chairs!" simplifies the complexities of ring flips through real-time feedback. As players progress through levels, the organic chemistry puzzles increase in difficulty against the ticking clock. No prior understanding of organic chemistry is required to enjoy the game.
Featuring over 13 challenging levels, "Chairs!" aims to facilitate easy mastery of this intricate concept.
